Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the WORLD STEEL Universal Engineering File Viewer processes personal data and uploaded files.
Data we process
Account data (name, email, company, country, phone), security data (sessions, IP address, audit events) and the files you upload, including derived previews, conversions, extracted text and annotations.
Purpose
We process this data to provide viewing, sharing and collaboration, to secure the service and to meet legal obligations. Files are never used for marketing.
Storage & retention
Files are stored in private storage outside the public web root and are deleted automatically when their retention period ends (by default 2 days). See the File Retention Policy.
Administrators
Administrators see file metadata only. Opening file content for support requires a separate permission, a recorded reason, is time-limited, audit-logged and you are notified.
AI processing
AI analysis runs only if enabled by an administrator for your account, and after your explicit consent and confirmation. Only extracted text, tables and metadata of the selected file are sent to the provider shown before processing.
Your rights
You can download or delete your files at any time and delete your account in Account settings. Contact: victor@worldsteelstructure.com.
